Janesville’s new electronics sniffing dog Maui helps Janesville police land another arrest. This time, It’s a man suspected of possessing child porn.

Police hauled in 39-year-old Janesville resident Brett Cochran on five counts of child pornography after a sting on his house early this morning.Gay porno

Cochran is now in jail pending a court hearing.

Authorities say police dog handler detective Jeff Winiarski and his pooch partner Maui helped collect numerous electronic storage devices during a warrant search at Cochran’s home in the 200 block of Rockport Road.

Janesville police say Maui helped collect evidence in another big arrest this week. That was in a stalking and domestic violence case that a local judge says is one of the most chilling cases he’s ever seen.

Several years later, in 2020, Jane was arrested for allegedly attacking her then boyfriend during an alcohol-fueled couple’s quarrel.  The star was booked into Cleveland County Jail on a charge of domestic violence following the alleged incident.  Police who responded to the couple’s home that morning were met in the driveway by the porn star’s boyfriend, who was nursing a bloody left eye and had bite marks on his left hand.  When interviewed by police, Jane reportedly offered a different version of events, claiming that her boyfriend picked her up by the neck and hurled her against the wall.  She is now survived by one son.  Actor and director Tommy Gunn, whose real name is Thomas Strada, shared an emotional tribute to Jane following her unexpected death in January (Gunn and Jane pictured together on September 12, 2005 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, California)  As the news spread of her unexpected death, tributes poured in for the adult film star from others in the industry.  Actor and director Tommy Gunn, whose real name is Thomas Strada, shared an emotional tribute to Jane, with whom he had co-starred in multiple films including Pirates. Taking to X, he shared an image of the two together saying he was ‘grateful to have been graced’ by her presence.  Gunn also touched on how he saw her passing as being the end of the ‘golden days’ of the adult movie industry.   He said: ‘I’m at a loss for words about the news of Jesse Jane’s passing, we started the same year in 2004.  ‘She possessed an energy about herself that was just unmatchable, she was such a wonderful person and always made me smile and feel loved, you could always feel her presence the moment she walked in the room.  ‘We worked together numerous times and in fact made some of the biggest movies this business and the world will ever see.  ‘This news brings a bit of sign that the golden days of the industry are over most certainly over. ‘I’m so happy and grateful to have been part of a time where there was a feeling of family and camaraderie. Jane signed a contract in 2002 with Digital Playground, and went on in to star in Pirates and Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge ‘Rest in Power Angel, I’m grateful to have been graced by your presence. And to ALL of the other wonderful people we have lost along the way, You are not forgotten. I love you!’ Alana Evans, president of the Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG), also told Rolling Stone: ‘Jesse was a mega star. She was discovered at Hawaiian Tropics contest.  ‘Even though she quickly became a porn sensation, it didn’t go to her head. She was as sweet as could be.  ‘I remember tearing the movie premiere for, I wasn’t in the cast, but she snuck me into the VIP balcony with the cast, so I could watch the movie with her up there.  ‘It was the first time any of us had seen anything like that on a big screen, and I remember how proud she was.’ Meanwhile, adult movie director Joone, who directed the Pirates films starring Jane, said on X: ‘I am heartbroken by the loss of my friend, Jesse Jane, who was a remarkable person and a phenomenal artist.  ‘She touched so many lives with her grace and beauty, her infectious laugh and a smile that lit up the world. I’m honored to have known her and to have been her friend.’ Tributes were also made on social media for Hasenmueller. One person shared a picture of him, saying: ‘Damn I’m at such a loss of words my heart aches for you my friend Brett D. Hasenmueller. ‘You were such a good guy and had such an amazing soul you were not just my friend you were my brother you were my family. ‘I could always count on you if I needed anything or just needed a friend to shoot the s**t with or when we would see each other out and about we would catch up about life and see when and where the next time. ‘Love you bro rest in peace until we see each other again.’ Another said: ‘Brett D. Hasenmueller embodied unwavering support, with a heart of gold that touched everyone. ‘Always ready with a smile, a comforting hug, and a collection of dad jokes. Biden hit Trump hard when he accused him of having an affair with Daniels when Melania Trump was pregnant with Barron. Trump has denied an affair. Trump hit back by noting Biden’s son Hunter was convicted of three felonies related to a 2018 gun purchase. ‘We’re going to make this country successful again, because right now it’s a failing nation. My retribution is going to be success. But when he talks about a convicted felon, his son is a convicted felon. At a very high level. His son is convicted,’ Trump said. And he repeated his claim he is a victim of politics.  ‘Joe could be a convicted felon with all of the things that he’s done,’ Trump said, referring to his policies at the border and in Ukraine.  Later, he added: ‘This man is a criminal. This man — you’re lucky. You’re lucky. I did nothing wrong. We’d have a system that was rigged and disgusting. I did nothing wrong.’  Biden hit back hard, bringing up Trump’s reported affair and that it happened while Melania Trump was pregnant with Barron. Trump has denied an affair but he was convicted on 34 felony accounts in New York tied to a hush money payments to Daniels made ahead of the 2016 election. ‘The crimes you are still charged with and think of all the civil penalties you have – how many billions of dollars in civil penalties for molesting a woman of public, for doing a whole range of things, of having sex with a porn star on the night while your wife is pregnant? What are you talking about,’ Biden said. ‘You have the morals of an alley cat,’ he added. ‘I didn’t have sex with a porn star number one,’ Trump responded. ‘Number two, that was a case that was started and moved. They moved a high ranking official at DOJ into the Manhattan DA ‘s office to start that case. That case is going to be appealed and one we had a very terrible judge. He also noted ‘my poll numbers went up way up you know … and we took in more money in the last two weeks than we’ve ever taken in the history of any campaign. Biden was asked to address voter concerns that, at 81, he is too old for a second term.  He noted that he used to be the youngest man in politics. He was first elected to the Senate at the minimum age of 30. ‘I spent half my career being the youngest person in politics. I was the second youngest person ever elected the United States Senate. And now I’m the oldest this guy’s three years younger, a lot less competent,’ he said. Trump, at 78, doesn’t face the same questions about his mental capabilities. Biden wasn’t helped by sounding hoarse throughout the night and struggling multiple times to find his words.  Trump, meanwhile, bragged about his mental prowess, noting he’s ‘aced’ cognitive tests and won two championships at his golf course – ‘not even senior’ contests but regular. ‘I took two cognitive tests, I aced them,’ Trump said ‘I just won two club championships, not even senior, regular.’ ‘To do that, you have to be quite smart, and you have to hit the ball a long way.’  He aded of Biden: ‘He can’t hit a ball. 50 yards he challenged me to a golf match. He can hit a ball 50 yards. I think I’m in very good shape. I feel that um, is in good shape as I was 2530 years ago. Actually, I’m probably a little bit lighter. But I’m in as good shape as I was years ago. I feel very good. I feel the same.’  Joe Biden and Donald Trump engaged in several personal attacks during the debate Biden used that to go after Trump’s height and weight.  ‘You can see he is six foot five and only 220.’ ‘Just take a look at what he says he is. Take a look at what he is. Look I’d be happy to have a driving contest. For him. I got my handicap, which when I was vice president, down to a six by the way I told you before, I’m happy to play golf. If you carry on bag,’ Biden said.
